Continuity of care
Our care

Steady support, from pregnancy to early parenthood.

Our care rests on three commitments — continuity with one named midwife, partnership with your hospital and doctor, and honesty about what midwifery can and cannot do.

Antenatal visits

Routine checks, gentle education and a personal birth-preparation plan, delivered in the calm of your own home.

Postnatal recovery

Recovery checks for mother and baby in the early weeks, with watchful attention to healing, mood and feeding.

Newborn checks

Weight, feeding, cord care, jaundice screening and gentle guidance through those first delicate weeks.

Lactation support

Practical, patient help with latch, positioning, supply concerns and the everyday questions that follow.

Antenatal classes

Small, honest sessions covering labour, comfort measures, newborn care and what to pack for the hospital.

Packages

Choose the level of care that fits your family.

Our scope

Clear about what we do — and what we don't.

Honesty matters more than marketing. Here is exactly how our care fits alongside your hospital and doctor.

What we do

  • Provide antenatal, postnatal, newborn and lactation care in your home.
  • Work in partnership with your chosen hospital and doctor.
  • Help you prepare for a safe, calm hospital birth.
  • Watch carefully for warning signs and refer promptly when needed.
  • Equip every family with a clear welcome booklet for home.

What we don't do

  • We do not conduct home deliveries.
  • We do not replace your hospital, obstetrician or paediatrician.
  • We do not prescribe medication outside a doctor's plan.
  • We do not promise outcomes — pregnancy and birth carry real risks.
  • We do not provide clinical advice over WhatsApp in emergencies.

In an emergency, go straight to hospital.

Every family in our care learns the warning signs at booking. If something feels wrong, please do not wait for a reply on WhatsApp — go to your nearest hospital or call 991.

FAQ

Questions families ask us.

Do you do home births?

No. We do not conduct home deliveries. We support you at home before and after birth and work in partnership with your chosen hospital for the birth itself.

Where in Lusaka do you visit?

We cover most of Lusaka. Some neighbourhoods carry a small travel adjustment — we will confirm this on WhatsApp before you book.

When is the best time to start care?

Ideally before 12 weeks, so the booking visit can set the foundation for the rest of the pregnancy. That said, we welcome enquiries at any stage, including in the early weeks after birth.

Do you replace antenatal care at the hospital?

No. We complement it. Your scans, bloodwork and any specialist input continue with your hospital or obstetrician; we provide additional support in the calm of your home.

How do payments work?

We confirm a clear quote on WhatsApp and accept bank transfer, MTN MoMo, Airtel Money or cash. Packages may be paid in full at booking with a small discount, or in three instalments. We do not take payments through this website.

Is my information kept private?

Yes. We do not collect any personal or health information through this website. Conversations on WhatsApp and care notes are kept confidential, in line with Zambia's Data Protection Act of 2021.
